1916-John Hemingsley scores in a 1-1 draw against Stockholm Tigarna in the U.S. National Team's first ever game, as they begin a tour of Sweden and Norway.

1970-Henry Largie scores in his fourth straight game, a 5-2 Atlanta Chiefs win over the Dallas Tornado at Franklin Field in Dallas.

1971-Ken Wallace's three goals lead the Montreal Olympic to a 5-4 win over the New York Cosmos at the Autostade in Montreal.

1972-The St. Louis Stars advance to the finals of the North American Soccer League playoffs with a 2-0 win over the Rochester Lancers at Busch Stadium.

1972-Playing without six starters, the U.S. National Team is upset by the German-American Soccer League All Stars 2-1 in an exhibition.

 1981-Mike Stojanovic's 10 game scoring streak is stopped in the San Diego Sockers 3-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.

1997-John Olu-Molomo's four goals lead the Seattle SeaDogs to a 9-7 win over the Houston Hotshots.

2007- David Beckham makes his first start for the Los Angeles Galaxy and scores his first MLS goal in a 2-0 victory over D.C. United in the CONCACAF SuperLiga semifinals.

2007- The Tuzos of Pachuca knock off MLS champs the Houston Dynamo 2-2 (4-3) in the CONCACAF SuperLiga semifinal at Robertson Stadium.

2008-Natasha Kai comes on at the start of extratime and heads in the 2-1 game winner over Canada in the 101st minute, sending the U.S. WNT into the medal round of the Beijing Olympic soccer tournament. The match was interrupted by a 100-minute lightning delay.

2009- Natasha Kai and Francielle both come off the bench to score goals as Sky Blue FC stun the Washington Freedom 2-1 at the Maryland SoccerPlex, advancing to the WPS Super Semifinal against Saint Louis Athletica.

2009-The New York Red Bulls' winless streak stretches to 16 games with a 2-0 loss to Chivas USA.

2010-Christina DiMartino scores two goals and Joanna Lohman nets the game winner in the last ten minutes as the Philadelphia Independence battle back from an early deficit for a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Beat at Farrell Stadium.

2011-The LA Galaxy sign Ireland National Team captain and Tottenham Hotspur forward Robbie Keane to a Designated Player contract

2012-The United States snaps a 75-year winless streak with a 1-0 win over Mexico at Estadio Azteca. Second-half substitute Michael Orozco Fiscal scores in the 80th minute and goalkeeper Tim Howard makes two late saves to protect the lead.

2012- Fabián Castillo has a goal and an assist, leading FC Dallas to a 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC in front of 19,006 at BC Place.

2012--Ecuador defeats Chile 3-0 in front of 31,901 at CitiField.

2014-Will Bruin scores in the 51st minute to give the Houston Dynamo only their second win in their last 11 games, 2-0 over the Philadelphia Union at BBVA Compass Stadium.

2015-Minnesota United pulls off a dramatic 2-1 win against the Ottawa Fury at TD Place, ending the Fury's 12-game unbeaten streak, with the winning goal coming from a picture perfect free kick from midfielder Daniel Mendes.

2015-Paulo Nagamura's late brace powers Sporting Kansas City to an epic 4-3 comeback win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Sporting Park.
