1964-Dukla Prague defeats Zaglebie 3-1 in the first of the two game playoff for the American Challenge Cup of the Internatonal Soccer League.
1977-Jim Redfern scores two goals for the Washington Diplomats as the New York Cosmos lose Pelé's last regular season game 2-1 before 31,283 at RFK Stadium. Pelé nets the Cosmos goal.
1980-Washington Diplomats midfielder Dragan Radovic records his league record third assist of the season in a 5-1 loss to the Minnesota Kicks at Metropolitan Stadium.
