April 30,
1916-Neil Clarke scores two goals as Bethlehem F.C. reaches the semifinals of the American Cup with a 5-0 win over the Jersey Athletic Club.

1967-Sel Milosevich scores both goals as the California Clippers defeat the Toronto Falcons 2-1 in front of 7,727 at the Oakland Coliseum.

1977-Derek Smethurst scores two goals and Roy Wegerle has a goal and an assist as the Tampa Bay Rowdies come from behind to defeat the Rochester Lancers 3-1 in front of 21,426 at Tampa Stadium.

1978-Giorgio Chinaglia scores two unassisted goals in the New York Cosmos' 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rowdies in front of 41,888 at Tampa Stadium.

1982-Mike Latchev paces the Buffalo Stallions with a hat trick as they record their first ever playoff win, 9-7 over the New York Arrows.

1989-Tab Ramos scores the only goal as the USMNT defeats Costa Rica 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier at St. Louis Soccer park.

1989-Dale Mulholland has a goal and an assist as the Orlando Lions defeat the New Jersey Eagles 2-0 in an American Soccer League game.

1997-Eloy Salgado's two-pointer at 8:49 of the third quarter sparks a 16-0 Kansas City run as the Attack defeats the Cleveland Crunch 18-14 in the opening game of the NPSL Finals.

2007-Roberto Brown and Kyle Beckerman score to give the Colorado Rapids a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake at Rice Eccles Stadium.

2008-Kyle Beckerman scores two first half goals to lead Real Salt Lake to a 4-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes in a play-in game for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

2011-Brad Evans scores twice and adds an assist as the Seattle Sounders FC pick up their second straight win while extending its unbeaten streak to six games with a 3-0 victory over Toronto FC  at Qwest Field.

2014-Naho Kawasumi has a goal and an assist, leading the Seattle Reign to a 2-0 win over Sky Blue FC at Yurcak Field.

2016-David Villa leads the way with two goals as New York City FC edges Vancouver Whitecaps FC 3-2  at Yankee Stadium for their first home win of the season.
