April 21,
1917-Jimmy Easton scores three goals to lead Bethlehem Steel to a 6-0 win over Joliet Steel Company in a semifinal of the National Challenge Cup. John Sullivan has three goals to lead the Fall River Rovers over H.S. Disston A.A. 4-3 in the other semifinal.

1946-Nick Kropfelder scores three goals in the Baltimore Americans' 4-1 win over the Brooklyn Hispanos at Bugle Field  in the first game of the home and home series of the ASL's Lewis Cup final.

1968-Eric Barber scores three goals, leading the Chicago Mustangs to a 5-2 win over the Kansas City Spurs in front of 4,211 at Municipal Stadium.

1976-The Tampa Bay Rowdies announce a local TV deal, which will see five road games show on WTOG.

1978-Al Trost has a goal and an assist to lead the California Surf to a 2-1 win over Toronto Metros-Croatia in front of 10,299 at Anaheim Stadium.

1979-In his NASL debut, Leonardo Cuellar scores a goal to tie the game 3-3, then scores the winner in the shootout as the San Diego Sockers down the San Jose Earthquakes 4-3 at San Diego Stadium.

1991-Mia Hamm, Michelle Akers, Carin Jennings and Wendy Gebauer each score as the United States defeats Trinidad & Tobago 10-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Port au Prince, Haiti.

1996-Uche Okafor scores the decider in the 16th round of the shootout, as the Kansas City Wiz defeat the San Jose Clash 3-2 in front of 17,580 at Spartan Stadium.

2001-Maren Meinert scores the only goal, giving the Boston Breakers a 1-0 win over the Carolina Courage.

2007-Maykel Galindo scores two goals to lead Chivas USA to a 4-0 win over Real Salt Lake at Home Depot Center.

2012-Sporting Kansas City has their club record seven-match winning streak snapped as they fall 1-0 on an own goal to the Portland Timbers at JELD-WEN Field.

2013-A crowd of 16,479 crams into JELD-WEN Field  to see the Portland Thorns defeat the Seattle Reign 2-1 on goals by  Marian Dougherty and  Alex Morgan.

2013-Jack McInerney scores two goals and Conor Casey has a goal and an assist to give the Philadelphia Union a big, hard fought road win over D.C. United at R.F.K Stadium.

2016-Bradley Wright-Phillips leads the way with two goals and an assist as the New York Red Bulls humble New York City FC 7-0  at Yankee Stadium.

2016-Cyle Larin scores both goals as Orlando City SC snaps a six-game winless streak with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Impact at Camping World Stadium.
