Introduction

If you love soccer, North American Soccer Guide 2017 is the book for you.

Here is a concise record of everything that has happened in the past year in soccer in North America, from the international and pro game to the college, amateur and youth levels. And that's only the beginning. From 2017 rosters and schedules to all-time champions and record holders at every level of North American soccer, it's all in The Guide. Looking for stats to help you fill out your fantasy team? Soccer trivia to stump your friends? Get The Guide.

While this is the first edition of this title published by Sports Vue, we take our inspiration from an earlier generation publication. Created by Brooklyn-based newspaper man Bill Graham, who wrote soccer for The Brooklyn Eagle, the North American Soccer Guide began  in 1948 as the U.S. Annual Soccer Guide. In 1950, he changed the name to North American Soccer Guide.

With a few gaps, and few more changes in title, Graham's guides were published annually through 1972, with Graham himself as editor until 1969.  With NASG17 and in future years, we hope to continue that great legacy of providing a complete annual record of North American soccer.
